Hospitality Properties Trust Declares Preferred Dividend

NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Hospitality Properties Trust (Nasdaq: HPT) today announced that its board of trustees has declared the regular quarterly dividend on HPT’s Series D Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Shares.

A distribution of $0.4453125 per Series D preferred share is payable on or about October 17, 2016, to holders of record at the close of business on September 30, 2016.

Hospitality Properties Trust is a real estate investment trust, or REIT, which owns a diverse portfolio of hotels and travel centers located in 45 states, Puerto Rico and Canada.
