Hospitality Properties Trust Announces Record Date for 2014 Annual Meeting of Shareholders

NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Hospitality Properties Trust (NYSE: HPT) today announced that the record date for determination of shareholders entitled to vote at the 2014 Annual Meeting of Shareholders is Monday, March 10, 2014.

Hospitality Properties Trust is a real estate investment trust, or REIT, which owns 291 hotels and owns or leases 185 travel centers located in 44 states, Puerto Rico and Canada. HPT is headquartered in Newton, Massachusetts.
