Hospitality Properties Trust Announces Quarterly Common Dividend

NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Hospitality Properties Trust (NYSE: HPT) today announced a regular quarterly common share distribution of $0.48 per common share ($1.92 per share per year). This distribution will be paid to HPT's common shareholders of record as of the close of business on January 13, 2014 and distributed on or about February 21, 2014.

Hospitality Properties Trust is a real estate investment trust, or REIT, which owns hotels and travel centers located in 44 states, Puerto Rico and Canada. HPT is headquartered in Newton, Massachusetts.
